Tax Refund

Travelling overseas?  You may qualify for a full GST refund if:

• Your purchase is over $300
• You are travelling within 60 days of purchase
• You are taking the jewellery with you.

 There is no limit on how much you can claim. 

 However, if you are returning to Australia within 12 months, your purchase will be included in your tax-free concession of $900 per adult.  For example, a couple can return with $1,800 worth of goods, including jewellery that had the GST refunded in Departures, and pay no tax.
